Families
who are coping with the day-to-day caregiving of a victim of Alzheimers,
traumatic brain injury, stroke and other debilitating conditions often struggle
along without any respite. Families are committed to preserving their loved
one’s ability to remain at home.
Bringing the loved one to the Adult Day Care Center for a
few hours or an entire day provides families the respite they need. We often
find our Participants stabilize or slow in the progression of their disease.
Social interaction is extremely important in keeping folks focused and
functioning.
Daily activities are structured. Staff is certified.
Caregiver support groups are available and families are offered literature as
well as seminars to aid them in understanding disease process and caregiving
issues.
